micomapa has no registration, forms or accounts, does not use cookies and does not store personal data.

What data is processed

• Like any website, the server that hosts it logs technical data about each visit (IP address, date, page requested and browser) in order to work and stay secure. This data is kept for no longer than strictly necessary for that purpose, is not used for anything else and is not disclosed to anyone unless required by law. Hosting is provided by OVHcloud in data centres in the European Union.
• If you press "Where am I", your exact position is used only on your device, to mark it on the map. The server is asked only for the forecast for the zone you fall within, a square of about 5 km, just as for any other page: your position is neither sent nor stored.
• To display the pages and the map, your browser downloads fonts, libraries and map tiles from Google Fonts, jsDelivr, OpenFreeMap and the Spanish National Geographic Institute (Instituto Geográfico Nacional), which receive your IP address when serving them.

Legal basis

The legitimate interest in the site working and being secure (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it and request its portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
